So, after the great night in Regina having a party with a great local band, we turn our rides towards the North, and start towards the Yellowhead highway.
The 15th of Aug is a ride through Saskatchewan, ending in the Bordertown of Lloydminster – however, you will stay on the Alberta side of the line… so TEAM ALBERTA, handled these arrangements.
Our map across the prairies looks pretty straightforward – click HERE to see the map.
Departing from Best Western Seven Oaks, we move North for lunch in Saskatoon, at the local Indian dealership.
Ending our day with a pass through the posts that mark the line between 2 provinces (click the photo for larger image).
We will head to the western edge of town, to stay at the Hampton Inn.
Too book at the Hampton Inn, where 20 king and 10 with 2 queens are blocked off for us.
Call the Hotel at (780) 874-1118, rate is specific to The Rolling Barrage.
$114 a night, down from the $139-$149, and even lower than their typical group rate for weddings and sports events. They will hold them until July 27th. Lots of space for parking and such.
The evening social will just be hanging out at the Rock Creek bar and grill, that shares a parking lot with the Hampton. We want people to be well rested in preparation for the next few days of BIG party, and getting into the mountain rides.
