Although The Rolling Barrage doesn’t start until the Saturday morning of the 5th, logistics, and ferry crossing schedules mean that our fearless leader will be in St. Johns the night before.

The day before launch (4th) – Scott will be emailing all the cross Canada/Long Haul riders that have shown they will be in the area, and in co-ordination with local riders and media, will be conducting the celebratory “Atlantic tire dip” for people to join.
That evening, there isn’t a strict social program due to a local folk festival, but the intention will be to meet everyone at the folk festival at Bannerman park.  Scott will arrange the time with the people during the tire dip, and expect to meet near the stage of the festival.

On the morning of the 5th, registration will open around 0800 at the Johnson building parking lot.
Kick stands up at 0930.
The ferry departs at 1700, with arrival at ferry terminal timed for 1500.  CF1 card (Canex loyalty card) gets Veterans substantial discount.  Book with Marine Atlantic in advance.

The ferry sails through the night, so that will be your hotel booking for the 5th.

Due to the folk festival, we do not have a group rate at any hotel for the 4th of August.

As we get closer, more route details will be posted, right now our priority is informing people
