Some flexibility will be needed, as things could always change based on ferry issues or something, but the current plan is that the ride will unload from the Ferry and proceed to a location that might look an awful lot like a Tim Hortons just up the road, unless the team develops something else as we get closer (we will update you in July to be exact) to set up registration, and media opportunities on the mainland.
0930 hrs(is plan A – right now), TRB will head southbound – local experts will ensure that we have the best tourist opportunity given the time provided, and taking into account weather conditions – so the only next guaranteed stop would be at the Causeway.
TRB has arranged a discount and blocked off some rooms for participants.
The Hampton Inn, Millbrook (just off highway – top of the hill to the south) is holding rooms at $99 + tax UNTIL JUNE 22ND, 2017... don’t wait on these ones as they will be lost due to the long weekend.
Most of the rooms have 2 queen beds, some are king bed with pull-out sofa.
Free Breakfast (although Tims isn’t far)
To get this rate – call the hotel and tell them that you are with The Rolling Barrage.
Evening festivities and social time are being planned. Details to follow at a later date.
